Turn differences into strengths
The goal of our team processes is for participants to gain insight into their own and each other’s strengths and weaknesses, as this can lead to better collaboration.
During the team process, participants also work on what motivates and engages them.
And we always focus on how they turn the differences in the team into an advantage.
In other words, what buttons do the participants need to push when communicating and collaborating with their colleagues in the future, now that they know that their colleagues’ strengths and work focus may lie elsewhere than their own?
Finally, the team’s overall focus is compared to the tasks or strategy you are working on.
This makes it clear what areas the team needs to focus on in their collaboration in order to reach their goals.
We are here to help
If you’d like to learn more about our team process, you can always contact us for a no-obligation conversation.
The purpose of the team process is to strengthen collaboration and communication by
- Give the individual employee or manager insight into their own profile with the strengths and weaknesses that are relevant to the job or role in the management team
- Make it clear what development potential each employee has in the job and the team.
- Make sure the team gets to know their own and others' behaviors and the reasons behind them.
- Discuss whether the team is making the best use of each other's strengths.
- Discuss if there is a need for competence development or new skills.
- Agree on specific development points that both teams and individual employees should work on going forward.
If you want to start a team process on your own or are looking for new inspiration, our Team Process Facilitation course might be for you.
A typical team process looks like this:
Each employee fills out a persona profile online.
After this, each employee receives individual feedback on their profile.
The employee also receives a written report.
Then the team meets for a 3-4 hour process.
Here we alternate between debate, exercises in small groups, focus on the strengths of diversity and presentations from our consultant.
The team process is of course customized to your specific needs.
Or set up more schematically and visually:
Filling out a personal profile
Employee fills out a personal profile online
Team process is held
The team meets for a process of discussion and exercises to optimize team collaboration
Report to management
Overall report for the team focus is handed out to management
Individual feedback if applicable
